VIRA D-SK 3000-2 is a new-generation modulating level control and alarm system for steam boilers. The system consists of the D-SK 3400 24VDC modulating level controller with touchscreen interface, the SD 3400 capacitive level probe and the SKV 3400 2-way proportional feedwater control valve. Together, these components provide precise proportional feedwater control and level alarm functions.
D-SK 3400 Touchscreen Controller
The D-SK 3400 controller provides the control, monitoring and alarm functions of the system. Its touchscreen interface gives direct access to operating information, control settings and calibration menus. Operators can adjust the proportional band and access dedicated valve-calibration and probe-calibration menus during commissioning and operation.
Project-Specific Probe and Valve Selection
The SD 3400 capacitive level probe is manufactured in the length required for the project. The SKV 3400 2-way proportional feedwater control valve is selected according to the application requirements and is available in PN 16, PN 25 and PN 40 pressure classes.
Selectable Control and Feedback Options
The D-SK 3400 controller is available with either 3-step control or 4-20mA control, selected according to the valve actuator and project requirements. It can receive valve-position feedback from either a potentiometer or a 4-20mA feedback signal.
Level Information, Drive Output and Alarms
The controller provides a 4-20mA analogue output for level information and a 4-20mA drive output for proportional valve control. High and low water-level alarm functions support operator awareness of abnormal boiler-water levels.
Installation Options
The D-SK 3400 controller operates with a 24VDC supply and is available in DIN-rail and panel-mount versions. This provides flexibility for integration into boiler control panels and new equipment designs.
