VIRA D-SK 3000-3 is a new-generation modulating level control and alarm system for steam boilers. The system combines the D-SK 3400 24VDC touchscreen controller, the SD 3400 capacitive level probe and an SKV 3400 3-way proportional feedwater control valve to provide precise proportional feedwater control and level alarm functions.
3-Way Valve with Direct Recirculation Outlet
The SKV 3400 3-way proportional feedwater control valve provides a direct outlet through its third port for the recirculation connection. This enables the recirculation line to be connected directly through the valve, rather than creating a separate recirculation line in the installation.
Project-Specific Probe and Valve Selection
The SD 3400 capacitive level probe is manufactured in the length required for the project. The SKV 3400 3-way valve is selected according to the application requirements and is available in PN 16, PN 25 and PN 40 pressure classes.
D-SK 3400 Touchscreen Controller
The D-SK 3400 controller manages the control, monitoring and alarm functions of the system. Its touchscreen interface provides access to operating information, control settings, proportional band adjustment, valve calibration and probe calibration menus.
Selectable Control and Feedback Options
The controller is available with either 3-step control or 4-20mA control, selected according to the valve actuator and project requirements. Valve-position feedback can be received from a potentiometer or a 4-20mA feedback signal.
Level Information, Drive Output and Alarms
The D-SK 3400 provides a 4-20mA analogue output for level information and a 4-20mA drive output for proportional valve control. High and low water-level alarm functions support awareness of abnormal boiler-water levels during operation.
Installation Options
The controller operates with a 24VDC supply and is available in DIN-rail and panel-mount versions for flexible integration into boiler control panels.
