Conductivity-Based Condensate Monitoring
Recovered condensate is a valuable source of energy and treated water in steam systems. An increase in conductivity can indicate that unsuitable condensate is entering the return line. VIRA systems continuously monitor condensate conductivity to help protect the condensate return system and boiler-water quality.
Automatic Diversion of Abnormal Condensate
When the measured conductivity exceeds the configured limit, the system automatically diverts the affected condensate away from the condensate tank. This helps prevent unsuitable condensate from mixing with recovered condensate and supports the safe reuse of clean condensate.
Efficient Condensate Recovery
By monitoring conductivity at critical points in the condensate return line, VIRA solutions help protect energy recovery, reduce treated-water losses and support reliable steam boiler operation. The measurement principle is conductivity-based; it is not intended to measure parameters such as pH, turbidity or oil content.
